Dave & Dean Benefit Triathlon
Panthers, The Hills & L.A.P.D. Triathlon Clubs hosted a triathlon open to anyone at the Penrith International Regatta Centre on Easter Monday in support of
Dave Morris and Dean Henkel who were recently hit by a truck on the M7 Motorway at Eastern Creek. More details below >
More on the Dave and Dean triathlon:
Dave and Dean were training for the Australian Ironman Championships at Port Macquarie. Dave tragically died at the scene whilst Dean is making a slow recovery in Westmead hospital from the extensive injuries he suffered.
Both are popular members of our extended Triathlon Family and this is an opportunity to assist both Dave and Deans families as they move forward from this unfortunate period of time in their lives.
This event replaced Panthers Tri Club's normal Club Race which was to be held on that
date.
