Swimming Training

 The Nepean Aquatic Centre Open water Swim:

The NAC Open water swim will start on the 4th November at 6am at the Regatta Centre. The cost will be $2 per session and is subsidised by the NAC. 

We need at least 2-3 people per week, to volunteer for "spotters" duty. If everyone volunteers  to do it at least twice over the course of the swimming season we should have it covered. 
Things to remember depending on number of swimmers and spotters, will either swim between the Start Tower and the 1500 mtr. marker, or the start Tower and the 1000 mtr marker.

Pool squad programs:

We will update the swim Squads that are available to club members for the 2011-2012 season.

Many people swim at Penrith Pool on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm. TopNotch also run a swim squad at Penrith pools on Saturday at 3pm.

Also availbale is the Nepean Aquatic Centre, Information including times when you can swim can be found on http://www.evaboryswimschool.com.au/. The NAC is a great venue to take your kids and also to have parties.

Other local pools
There are various swimming squads available for triathletes at Penrith Pool, Ripples (at St Marys) and Glenbrook Pool - please contact the pools directly for session times.
