Helpers need for Enticer and Nepean races -15 and 16 November
Anyone who is willing to assist at either the Nepean or Enticer races,
please contact Gordon Bell on 0412 570 036.

Some of the roles are:

  • Lead mountain bike for the leading male and female in Sunday's Nepean
  • Transition marshals for both days
  • Water safety for both days
  • Registration and body numbering for both days

So if you can spare a few hours on the Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, your assistance would be most appreciated.  After the races there will be a pizza/beer/wine/softdrink night organised for all helpers so put your name down with Gordon if you can assist and Phil Williams will be the
club liaison person over the weekend

Panthers/Hills Challenge
The Club Challenge between the Hills club and Panthers has created a
great deal of interest between the two clubs. The shield has been
purchased and all entrants in the Nepean or Enticer races from each club
will score one point for finishing. The first three in each age
group scoring additional points on a 3,2,1 basis.

The losing Club President will have to present the trophy, named the Kim Wilson/Matt Fisher Challenge to the other club at theirs and ours next club races and I don't want this to be me.

Don't forget to make sure when you enter the Nepean or the Nepean
Enticer Triathlons (www.nepeantriathlon.com) you indicate you are
racing for Panthers. If you have entered and not included Panthers as
your club, please contact Warwick Brennan on 02 4735 2544 after hours who will add the club onto your entry.

STOP PRESS -  I now understand that the Hills club are taking this challenge very seriously and plan to knock the Panthers off their perch so come on guys and girls lets show what the Panthers can do.

Run Handicap
The run handicap commenced Tuesday, 28 October and from all accounts is again going to be a big success this year. A big thanks to Ann Crowley,
Danny Marshall, Sue Blessing and Ash Major for organising the races.

Nepean Triathlon
The Club is also planning a social two days for the Nepean Triathlon
weekend.  We will have the club tent up for both the Saturday Enticer
races and Sunday's Nepean. The tent will be a social gathering point for
all our club members. All financial club members who finish wearing
their club gear will get a ticket for a sausage sandwich/vegi burger at
the lakes canteen. Once you finish your race, come down to the club tent
for a well earned coke and your food voucher. If you do not have any
gear it is available at Panther Cycles, Henry Street Penrith opposite
the Courthouse. Enter Nepean Triathlon >

Swim Training
Friday swim training at the Lakes is on again at 6am. Meet in the
carpark and Rob George will be the swim captain. We need a couple of
watchers who walk along the path to keep check on the swimmers so if you
can assist give Rob a call on 0421 203 676.

Next Club day
Don't forget our next club race day is  Sunday 9 November  commencing at 7am. There will be races for the juniors and adults. To race, you must be a current club member as at 4pm Friday, 7 November - NO EXCEPTIONS. Enter on-line now if you haven't already >
