NSW Triathlon Club Series

Sydney Triathlon Premier League

Season Preview

A Sydney Premier Club champion is to be crowned and two clubs will be relegated.

The seven Premier Triathlon clubs of Sydney are due to lock horns over nine events.

Hills will start as favourites and have their home Duathlon up first in Round 1. Clubs will need to make sure they do not give the Hills Red Army to much of a head start. It is also a Worlds Qualifying Event so a sell out is expected.

Round 2 is a week later down in Berry and will surely see a shuffle in the pack with title and relegation contenders emerging.

Nepean is Round 3  with all clubs expected to feature heavily.

Rounds 4 and 5 are both at Kurnell either side of Christmas.

The January event, the first of the New Year, is likely to finalise whether a club is in the title race or a scrap for Premier League survival.

The Richie Walker Aquathlon is next up and should see the clubs in the South and East make a move.

Big Husky is Round 7 and with the Performance Points being awarded for the long course event, the form book goes out the window.

The Wollongong Triathlon is the penultimate round followed by the big one. Double points in Forster at the Triathlon NSW Club Championships.

Key Race – Round 7 – Big Husky – One of the biggest weekends on the calendar, a stumble here could leave a club with too much to do
